I believe we had some very crowded trades, e.g. long gold and oil, short the dollar and short financials. Those trades have been getting unwound very fast over the past month. Your guess is as good as mine with gold. One thing I know is that I get the feeling people want to be bullish so bad but the fundamentals just keep getting worse.
